Creation and analysis of disease networks for drug repurposing in rare diseases from heterogeneous sources

The aim of DISNET project is to integrate in a single database information from public and heterogeneous sources to allow the analysis and understanding of the relationships among diseases. As part of the knowledge that will be derived from this understanding, the project aims to create disease networks that can be analyzed to create new strategies in terms of drug repurposing, mainly applied to rare diseases.
