Andrea Álvarez Pérez is a PhD student at the Center for Biomedical Technology (CTB) of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). She graduated in Biotechnology, specialized in Computational Biotechnology, and has a Master’s degree in Computational Biology, both from UPM. Her main interests involve Biomedical Informatics and Semantic Technologies, and she is currently working on her thesis at the Medical Data Analytics Laboratory (MEDAL) in drug repurposing and network medicine focusing on neurological diseases.
