Xiangyu Wan is a PhD student in Software, Systems, and Computing(PSSC) at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). He obtained his Master’s degree from the Master’s in Software and Systems(MUSS) program at UPM. His research interests lie in the fields of multimedia and machine learning.

Currently, his research and thesis are centered on the acceleration of video encoding through the utilization of machine learning algorithms.
